On 2 and 3 March 2020, the Celje Youth Center hosted partners within the new APEL project (Active Youth Participation through Empowered Leadership), which MCC successfully applied for the ERASMUS +: Youth in Action program. The APEL project brings together 4 partners from different European regions – Central Europe (Slovenia and Austria), Eastern Europe (Bulgaria) and Western Europe (Netherlands) and is a reflection of current challenges and trends in the field of youth work.
The introductory meeting of the partners was intended for a detailed review of the project, the set goals and the results of the project. Within the framework of as many as three direct results of the project (training methodology, coaching cards and political recommendations), we have already concretely finalized the drafts and reviewed examples of good practices. As part of project management, we reviewed the time course of activities and the financial breakdown and focused on immediate PR steps.
The Facebook page of the APEL project is being prepared, as well as a website that will be available in five languages (English, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Dutch and German).
